I use a topical anesthetic to minimise the pain as much as possible. Some clients feel no pain at all, while others may feel slight discomfort. Most say threading is much worse.

Although we call it ‘permanent make-up’, the effects will not last forever like a regular tattoo. They fade gradually over time, which is why yearly colour boosts are recommended. Some technicians call it ‘semi-permanent make-up’ or ‘micro pigmentation’.

This varies from person to person because of a variety of factors such as: skin type, diet, genetics, and so on. As a guide, treatments can last between 12-18 months, although this can be further extended by use of colour boost treatments. It is important to remember  PMU is a ‘low’ not a ‘no’ maintenance treatment.

Yes. Almost anyone can benefit from PMU – as long as you are over 18 years of age. With the exception of only a few medical conditions which I will go through with you on your consultation.

Usually, No. Straight after the procedure, your new make-up may look slightly darker than your desired look, but fade within a week or so. Brows don’t tend to swell or look red, but eye and lip treatments may be a little swollen for a couple of days after treatment.

Absolutely Yes! I would never do any work on someone’s face without a template to follow (with the exception of a lash enhancement). I also use measuring tools, markings and brow guides to help me create the best possible results.

I see a lot of pink/orange brows. This is because the quality of pigment used was not the best. Or, the correct colour was not picked for the clients skin undertone, or that the proper after care was not followed. I only use the best pigments that fade true to colour.
